That round had some great comments about slugs, Pippi Longstockings, Mongolians, Geisha girls and Alice in Wonderland, but this comment PWNS.

Yes, Sabe wears both of these in the films, not Padme. However, as they are designed as Queen Amidala's wardrobe, they have a place in this competition.

I'm very sorry to see that both proverb and her icon journal proverbial_icon are no longer. She was the first icon maker I ever came across, long before I was even at Livejournal. She used to have a great website with all her icons, which unfortunately was closed some time ago. She was very talented.

I hope all is well in the world with her.

First time we did this, Arwen's Chase Outfit kicked ass. Then, it was time for Eowyn's White Gown to triumph as Boss Frock. Now it's Padme's turn .... and there are 36 costumes to get through....omfg.

Please note that 2 of her costumes will be excluded. Her Coruscant Nightgown from EpII and Hosital Gown from EpIII are little more than white shifts. Costumes from the Clone Wars series and any comics etc will also not be included. However, the two costumes Sabe wears as decoy in Ep I will be included, because technically they are from Padme's wardrobe.

Hedge your bets! I think the safe money's on the Picnic Gown from EpII to win, but who knows?

I had the idea today for this meme ....

Aim of the Game

Thanks to everyone who participated this tournament. Your thoughts, opinions and votes were very much appreciated. I apologise again for the erratic nature of the tournament - my life is very nuts right now!
